Vibram’s Five-Fingers

Every month or so I make a purchase that drives my wife insane. Why the hell would you spend money on that? What earthly purpose does that serve in your life? And my personal favorite; I just don’t understand (showing inverted palms, exacerbated sighs). This past weekend we were in Atlanta. Under the coercion of friends I purchased these beauties:

Vibram5fBrownLeather

She was pissed. She was crestfallen. She ranted about not being seen with me in public with those – those things on.

Only other married other guys could understand the level of pleasure this brings. We’ve been married so long that I’m pretty sure I could assemble an argument outfit.  That loud shirt I got a few years back. The pants with the obnoxious checks. The ripped baseball cap that fits perfectly fine. And of course these lovely shoes (they are uber-comfortable). What’s that? You want to talk about something? Hang on let me get dressed.

Spousal annoyance achieved. I’m thinking of getting another pair.

Enjoy and share d.l. with your friends:

An “argument outfit” — that is classic.

Doesn’t sound like it took too much coercion to get you into a pair of KSO Treks.

So how do you like them so far? What will you be primarily using them for? If you get into them, be sure to say “hello” to the Vibram fan community (join the forums, or just leave a comment on one of the blog posts!).
